Mid Hudson Energy Transition•Kingston, NY
•$70,000 - $80,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Marketing and Content Manager shapes how Mid-Hudson Energy Transition (MHET) communicates with community members, funders, partners, and the public. The role owns MHET’s brand and day-to-day storytelling across social media, the website, the monthly newsletter, graphic design, event promotion, program recruitment campaigns, and energy education materials. Working closely with program staff, the manager turns program outcomes and community stories into clear, accessible, culturally responsive materials. The role also shares MHET’s work with the wider field through impact reports, videos, presentations, and toolkits. This is a hands-on, high-output position for a strong designer and writer who is comfortable creating visual materials, drafting content, and planning campaigns. The manager works across programs including Outreach & Education, the HELP Fund, the Home Energy Loan Program, Home Upgrade Grants, and Energy Innovation. The position reports to the Executive Director. The position is hybrid, based in Kingston, New York, with a strong preference for working on-site several days per week and flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends are required for community events, fundraising events, and campaign launches.
