About The Position
Budget Avis Car and Truck Rental of Utah is seeking an ambitious Manager in Training to join its Layton team. This full-time role offers hands-on training in rental car operations, sales, fleet coordination, employee development, and branch management while working alongside experienced leaders. The position is designed for someone interested in developing into management, with opportunities to advance to Assistant Manager and Branch Manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or business operations is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Interest in developing leadership and business management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with daily branch operations and business performance.
- Support customer service, rental sales, and revenue goals.
- Coordinate vehicle availability, fleet inventory, and daily vehicle operations.
- Help train, support, and develop team members.
- Gain experience with employee scheduling, staffing, and team leadership.
- Assist with customer concerns and operational problem-solving.
- Learn company systems, procedures, and management practices.
