About the position

The Manager of HR Shared Services is responsible for overseeing and improving the processes, solutions, and data within the HR Shared Services function. This includes managing a team, implementing process improvements, maintaining data integrity, leading projects, and supporting the administrative needs of the HR team. The role requires a focus on customer service, efficiency, and continuous improvement to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support HR processes including onboarding, exiting, organizational changes, and data entry
  • Identify, map, project manage, and implement process improvement, simplification, and efficiency
  • Manage, lead, and develop the HR Shared Services team to ensure a positive and efficient customer service experience
  • Manage workflow priorities, including call triaging and escalation, staff schedules, and quality of service monitoring
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators of the HR Shared Services team
  • Ensure high level of customer service delivery from the HR Shared Services team
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize and improve processes
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services Team
  • Responsible for recruitment and professional development of HR Shared Service team members
  • Responsible for all data management and integrity in the HRIS, including entry and auditing
  • Provide technical and end-user support for HR systems including ATS, Onboarding, and I-9 compliance
  • Manage standard reports and create ad-hoc reports for HR leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Develop user guidelines, training materials, and documentation for effective use of HR processes
  • Support time and attendance service tickets in coordination with the Payroll team
  • Handle sensitive employee and business information with utmost confidentiality
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to gather field input into service delivery model
  • Manage key Vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with HRIS leadership on data entry and process improvements
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Experience managing HR processes including onboarding, exiting, organizational changes, and data entry
  • Ability to identify, map, project manage, and implement process improvement, simplification, and efficiency
  • Strong leadership and development skills to manage and lead the HR Shared Services team
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage workflow priorities, call triaging, staff schedules, and quality of service monitoring
  • Proficiency in developing and monitoring key performance indicators for the HR Shared Services team
  • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service delivery
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement efforts to optimize and improve processes
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services Team
  • Recruitment and professional development experience for HR Shared Service team members
  • Proficiency in data management and integrity in HRIS, including entry and auditing
  • Knowledge of employee transaction processing and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Technical and end-user support for HR systems including ATS, Onboarding, and I-9 compliance
  • Ability to create standard and ad-hoc reports for HR leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Development of user guidelines, training materials, and documentation for effective use of HR processes
  • Support for time and attendance service tickets in coordination with the Payroll team
