About the position
As a Senior HR Director at Cresco Labs, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Human Resources department for all retail Sunnyside dispensaries in AZ & IL. Your role will involve consulting business leaders on various HR areas such as performance management, talent assessment, recruitment, employee relations, labor relations, and legal compliance. Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, you will play a key role in advancing talent initiatives and strengthening Cresco Labs' position as an employer of choice. With limited travel and the opportunity to expand into additional markets, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact in the cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop direct reports to be consultative partners to assigned business groups
- Assess, prioritize, and distribute workload to develop the entire team
- Maintain and strengthen external, internal, and cross-functional relationships
- Drive effective performance management, compensation, and development activities
- Strengthen company culture by aligning HR practices with company objectives
- Serve as primary HR contact for assigned business groups and union representatives
- Act as a "change leader" when planning and implementing change management strategies
- Complete special projects and objectives, analyze data, conduct research, and deliver recommendations and results
- Have 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Provide leadership consultation and development
- Transfer knowledge to build skills and capabilities through learning and development
- Conduct employee relations investigations and document recommendations
- Handle labor relations, including collective bargaining and responses to grievances
