About the position
This job involves safely transporting medication to dispensaries and ensuring compliance with state regulations related to the delivery and distribution of medical cannabis. The role requires executing deliveries on time, communicating any delays, and following all rules of the road. Additionally, the job involves handling cash and maintaining clean and properly maintained vehicles. Detailed record-keeping on all vehicles is also a key responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport medication to dispensaries
- Must have a thorough understanding of all state regulations related to delivery/distribution of medical cannabis and ensure full compliance by all department staff
- Execute all deliveries on time and communicating any delays to the Logistics Manager and dispensary
- Follow all rules of the road
- Proper cash handling and acceptance of cash from dispensaries
- Ensure all vehicles are clean and properly maintained
- Keep detailed records on all vehicles
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of all state regulations related to delivery/distribution of medical cannabis
- Ability to ensure full compliance with regulations by all department staff
- Safe transportation of medication to dispensaries
- Timely execution of all deliveries and communication of any delays to the Logistics Manager and dispensary
- Knowledge and adherence to rules of the road
- Proper cash handling and acceptance of cash from dispensaries
- Maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles
- Detailed record-keeping on all vehicles

- Ability to read maps and use GPS
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) Report, and DOT required physical exam with satisfactory results

- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
