About The Position

The Manager, GPO Delivery & Optimization owns delivery of GPO contracts for an assigned portfolio of member accounts, from activation through renewal. This is an execution-focused role responsible for developing and running account plans and driving results. The manager uses data and Premier technology to communicate value, manages contract performance so members realize that value, and independently solves problems. The role leads account workplans and manages GPO portfolio lifecycle activities, including tier activation and timing, renewals and expirations, distributor contract audits, roster accuracy, and administrative fee revenue accuracy. It coordinates with internal contracting, subject-matter, analytics, pharmacy, food, and portfolio partners; manages project plans and timelines; executes contract activations, amendments, and renewals; and drives category adoption and contract utilization. The manager analyzes data using Premier technology, AI, Power BI, and analytics resources to develop recommendations and member-facing narratives. The role also supports annual growth forecasting and business reviews, works toward contract growth, penetration, and savings/value targets, and ensures regular submission of member data needed for analytics and tracking. As a trusted advisor, the manager guides member stakeholders, aligns member and Premier supply chain and pharmacy goals, and resolves ambiguous problems to keep execution moving. The position is remote and requires 21–40% travel within the United States. The work is sedentary and involves prolonged stationary periods, computer use, communication with others, independent decision-making, and working collaboratively in close quarters with interruptions.
