Manager, GPO Delivery and Optimization

Premier Healthcare Solutions•Phoeniz, AZ

About The Position

The Manager, GPO Delivery and Optimization owns delivery of GPO contracts for an assigned portfolio of member accounts, from activation through renewal. This is an execution-focused role responsible for developing and carrying out plans that produce results. The manager uses data and Premier technology to communicate value, manages contract performance so members realize that value, and independently solves problems and removes barriers to execution. The role leads account workplans and manages the GPO portfolio lifecycle, including tier activation and timing, renewals and expirations, distributor contract audits, roster accuracy, and administrative fee revenue accuracy. It coordinates with internal contracting, portfolio, and analytics partners; manages project plans and timelines; executes contract activations, amendments, and renewals with distributors and suppliers; and drives category adoption decisions. The manager analyzes contract and member data, develops recommendations and member-facing narratives, contributes to growth forecasts and business reviews, and works toward contract growth, penetration, and member savings or value targets. The manager also serves as a trusted day-to-day advisor to member stakeholders, tailoring engagement to each member’s goals, capabilities, and needs. When no dedicated GPO team resources are assigned, the role coordinates GPO activity on the member’s behalf and aligns member and Premier supply chain and pharmacy goals. The position operates in a hospital environment and requires 21–40% travel within the United States.
