Manager, Business Systems and Transformation
About The Position
RTX Enterprise Services is hiring a Manager, Business Systems and Transformation to support Direct Tax applications, including Longview, Corptax, Alteryx Server, and related technologies. The role applies software engineering and application-delivery practices to modernize solutions, automate financial processes, strengthen integrations, and maintain reliable production services. The position supports Corporate and Enterprise Services, with a focus on financial transformation and process optimization. It requires collaboration across digital and functional workstreams, as well as expertise in design, configuration, and executive communication. The work centers on the Tax Applications environment and systems and processes aligned with Finance, Reporting, middleware integrations, and ERP. The position is remote and requires U.S. citizenship because access to certain necessary systems is restricted to U.S. citizens. No security clearance is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant software engineering or enterprise application delivery experience.
- Hands-on development experience with C# and .NET, SQL, and Python.
- Experience using source-control and delivery platforms such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with SFTP, Apigee, PowerBI, and SAP.
- Experience delivering solutions across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture or design, build, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
- Experience building or supporting financial or other business-critical enterprise applications, including application interfaces, data flows, reporting, and automation.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and AI use cases and bring innovation.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access certain necessary systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with one or more Direct Tax platforms, including Longview, Corptax, or Alteryx Server.
- Network and connectivity problem-solving experience.
- Working knowledge of firewall and proxy server fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of SSO, PING, and Azure B2B Authentication Protocols.
- Core/Six Sigma/Agile knowledge related to process standardization, and knowledge of compliance and SOX.
