About The Position

The South Division of Hajoca has a Management Development Program to attract, develop, and retain world-class leaders. Trainees are exposed to every facet of the business by being an active member of the team in operations and sales, working with contractors, and traveling to other profit centers in the region. This program has been successful since the 1990s and will set you up for success in a long-term leadership role in a unique business model. The training takes place over a four-year period and is structured as follows: Warehouse and Counter (1 year) for understanding logistics and customer interaction; Inside Sales (9 months) for customer relationship development; Outside Sales (2 years) for capturing new accounts and growing existing ones; and Leadership and Operations (3 months) for operations management and leadership training. Upon completion, you will be prepared to manage a profit center, lead a team, and achieve financial success. Be prepared to move at least once during the program and again upon becoming a Profit Center Manager. The South Division is looking to grow aggressively in sales and new locations, requiring the best management and sales teams due to its decentralized structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability and willingness to work in all areas in the region applied
  • Strong desire to lead a team and run your own business
  • Experience leading teams, groups, clubs, or sports teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiences
  • Goal-orientation, a competitive spirit, and a take-charge attitude
  • Ability to perform a wide range of tasks, with an equal blend of interpersonal and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, perform, and master the logistics of getting materials in and out of the business.
  • Interact with customers, learn products, and spend time in the field learning how products are applied.
  • Visit other locations to observe their operations.
  • Interact with existing customers, provide solutions, and develop relationships.
  • Capture new accounts and grow existing accounts, becoming a partner in their business.
  • Focus on operations management and leadership training.
  • Manage one of Hajoca's profit centers.
  • Lead a team.
