About The Position

The Male Spa Attendant welcomes spa guests and provides robes, slippers, towels, and locker keys. The attendant escorts guests to lockers and massage clients to therapists, introducing them as appropriate. The role supports guests’ use of spa amenities and wellness experiences, maintains cleanliness, and upholds Forbes 5 Star and Ace service standards. Duties also include helping guests understand treatments and services, providing refreshments, maintaining locker and tub areas, and restocking linens and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
• Complete and provide proof of a Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Certificate through the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to stand, move, and work throughout office areas and properties, including walking up to 3 miles and climbing stairs.
• Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, or otherwise move goods weighing at least 25 pounds intermittently.
• Sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and a multi-line telephone.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, excellent guest service at all times, including to internal clients.
• Greet guests warmly as they enter the spa.
• Be familiar with treatments, including indications, contraindications, and services in relation to therapists’ experience, knowledge, and education.
• Assist in identifying the underlying cause of guests’ problems and instituting change.
• Provide guests with robes, slippers, and locker keys, and offer iced water or iced tea.
• Keep locker areas neat and clear of used towels and slippers.
• Give tours to guests.
• Fill mineral tubs for guests, then drain, clean, and refill them after each use.
• Replace towels and mats and escort guests to the tranquility room.
• Restock linens and supplies throughout the spa.
• Maintain Forbes 5 Star and Ace service standards.
• Adhere to Tribal Ordinances and Regulations, the ACCRS and SRC Systems of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
