Male Spa Attendant Part Time
About The Position
The Male Spa Attendant maintains cleanliness, set-ups, and spa standards in locker rooms, workout areas, tennis and games rooms, and other spa areas. The role provides courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests, helping create comfort and customer satisfaction while following Four Seasons policies and procedures. The attendant sets up and maintains spa facilities and refreshments, assists guests with appointments and inquiries, accommodates special requests where possible, and addresses customer complaints. Additional duties include assisting with fitness equipment and recreational activities, coordinating guest introductions to spa practitioners, handling towels and products, cleaning and stocking waiting areas, and helping other staff set up and break down treatment areas.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Six months of hospitality industry work and/or fitness or health club-related work.
- Work an eight-hour shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the spa, including refreshments, locker rooms, workout areas, tennis areas, the pre-treatment area, and the games room.
- Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests when possible, resolve complaints, and assist with inquiries about spa services.
- Assist guests with their spa appointments.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Assist guests with the use and set-up of fitness machines and with croquet and tennis equipment.
- Introduce guests to spa practitioners, including massage therapists, fitness instructors, and tennis pros.
- Retrieve and fold towels.
- Retrieve, deliver, and store or set up products from purchasing.
- Clean and stock the waiting area.
- Assist other staff with set-up and breakdown of their treatment areas.
