About The Position

The Male Spa Attendant welcomes spa guests and provides robes, slippers, towels, and locker keys. The attendant escorts guests to their lockers and massage clients to their therapists, making introductions. The role helps maintain a clean spa facility and assists guests with amenities, wellness experiences, and equipment. The position requires professional, friendly guest service and adherence to Forbes 5 Star and Ace service standards, as well as applicable tribal ordinances, regulations, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
• Complete and provide proof of a Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Certificate through the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of employment.
• Able to stand, move, and work throughout office areas and properties, including walking up to 3 miles and climbing stairs.
• Able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Able to grasp, bend, lift, carry, or otherwise move goods weighing at least 25 pounds intermittently.
• Sufficient hand dexterity to use office equipment, including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and a multi-line telephone.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and professionalism to guests and internal clients.
• Greet guests warmly as they enter the spa.
• Be familiar with treatments, including indications, contraindications, and services appropriate to therapists’ experience, knowledge, and education.
• Assist in identifying the cause of guests’ problems and instituting change.
• Provide guests with robes, slippers, and locker keys, and offer iced water or iced tea.
• Keep locker areas neat and clean, removing dirty towels and slippers left by guests.
• Give tours to guests.
• Fill mineral tubs; drain, clean, and refill them after each use.
• Replace towels and mats, and escort guests to the tranquility room.
• Restock linens and supplies throughout the spa.
• Maintain Forbes 5 Star and Ace service standards.
• Adhere to applicable Tribal Ordinances, Regulations, ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
