About The Position

Glen Oaks Apartments is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and help support a positive resident experience. The role is responsible for restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready status and completing apartment turns within move-in deadlines. The technician may also assist with snow and ice removal and perform other duties assigned by a supervisor. Compensation starts at $20.33 per hour or higher, based on experience.

Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience involving drywall, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; training is available.
HVAC certification or experience is preferred; training is available.
Possess personal tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Previous building maintenance experience across drywall, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC.
HVAC certification or experience.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete the full vacant apartment turn process promptly to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
