About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join the on-site operations team at Trade Winds Apartments. The role supports a positive resident experience by restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready condition and completing apartment turns in time to meet move-in deadlines. The position includes a starting wage of $20.33 per hour or higher, based on experience. HVAC experience or certification is preferred, but the employer is willing to train.

Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; the employer is willing to train.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

HVAC certification or experience; the employer is willing to train.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete the vacant apartment turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
