About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Foreman in the Dairy Manufacturing industry! This is a hands-on position working primarily on the production floor. The role involves leading and supporting a team of maintenance technicians while remaining hands-on with complex mechanical and electrical repairs. The Maintenance Foreman will plan, manage, and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime, troubleshoot and repair various industrial systems, and ensure all maintenance activities meet food safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

7+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a lead, supervisor, management, or maintenance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical prints, schematics, and diagrams.
Experience using a CMMS or EAM system.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead a team while performing technical work.
Ability to work rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Nice To Haves

Food and beverage or dairy manufacturing experience.
Experience with industrial refrigeration, boilers, HVAC/R, or utility systems.
Experience with pump maintenance and reliability programs.
Knowledge of lubrication principles and bearing applications.
Experience operating forklifts and various lifts.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians while remaining hands-on with complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
Plan, manage, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Assign daily tasks, coordinate shift coverage, and provide technical direction to maintenance technicians.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
Perform industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs involving valves, fittings, and related systems.
Manage multiple maintenance projects and prioritize work based on operational impact.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status accurately within the CMMS system.
Support pump maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
Coach and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Participate in safety efforts, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and technician safety initiatives.
Ensure maintenance activities meet food safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
