About The Position
Regal Cinemas at the Shoppes at Ithaca is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform minor repairs and general facility maintenance throughout the theatre, including auditorium and projection-booth areas. Work may include seat repairs, basic carpentry, painting, changing lights, tile and sheetrock repairs, and other minor maintenance. Basic electrical or plumbing skills are a bonus. The role focuses on maintenance not covered by Regal’s Technical Services Department and includes representing Regal consistently with its mission and policies. The candidate should be able to work early morning hours until early afternoon, before the theatre opens to the public.

Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Inspect and repair auditorium seats in a timely manner.
- Perform tile work and sheetrock repairs.
- Train theatre personnel in the proper and safe performance of minor repairs and maintenance.
- Change light bulbs and perform other minor repairs as needed.
- Paint as needed.
- Complete the daily inspections report.
- Work with management to obtain qualified personnel for larger maintenance concerns.
- Know how to arm and disarm the alarm system and operate it generally.
- Be aware of safety and emergency procedures.
- Perform minor repairs in theatre areas, including the projection booth, while excluding equipment or maintenance handled by the Technical Services Department.
