About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for WorldMark Indio Resort. The role provides quality maintenance results for guests by using maintenance skills and customer service expertise to keep resort units and buildings in good working order. Under supervision, the technician performs general facility maintenance, service requests, repairs, make-ready work, and basic repair or replacement of fixtures. The role also includes outdoor cleanup and landscape upkeep, inspection of building systems, reporting deficiencies to a supervisor, and following company safety programs.
Requirements
- Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
- Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
- Basic handyman skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and support efficient production.
- Complete directed service requests and repairs, including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
- Perform directed maintenance work for make-ready units.
- Repair and replace general fixtures and perform basic repairs to doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
- Clean and maintain outside landscape areas, including emptying trash, picking up trash, and general landscape work.
- Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
