About The Position

Standlee Premium Western Forage is seeking a skilled and motivated Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and help keep manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities. The supervisor oversees night shift maintenance activities, supports production operations, troubleshoots equipment issues, and develops the maintenance team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory, management, or team leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Journeyman Electrician License.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school, apprenticeship, or related maintenance training.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, automation, and industrial controls.
• Manufacturing experience in agricultural, food, feed, or consumer packaged goods environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate night shift maintenance operations.
• Prioritize and assign maintenance work orders.
• Supervise, coach, and support maintenance technicians.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and good manufacturing practices.
• Conduct shift handoff meetings and communicate equipment status to incoming teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Coordinate parts procurement and maintenance planning activities.
