About The Position
KENT WORLDWIDE is hiring a second-shift Maintenance Supervisor for its Columbus, Mississippi location. The position oversees the industrial maintenance program and resolves mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems involving production and facility equipment. The role is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, MS.
Nice To Haves

- A degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a maintenance program that includes preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Set shift schedules and maintenance assignments.
- Develop maintenance policies and procedures.
- Maintain and emphasize ideal plant conditions and standards.
- Supervise maintenance workers and contract employees.
- Direct employees to follow OSHA safety practices and Food Safety Programs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose equipment faults.
- Repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Manage supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Interface effectively with external suppliers, customers, and others.
