About The Position
KENT WORLDWIDE is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for the second shift at its Columbus, Mississippi location. The role oversees the industrial maintenance program and addresses mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems with production and facility equipment. The position is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, MS.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
- A degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a maintenance program that includes preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Set shift schedules and maintenance assignments.
- Develop maintenance policies and procedures.
- Maintain and emphasize ideal plant conditions and standards.
- Supervise maintenance workers and contract employees.
- Direct employees to follow OSHA safety practices.
- Direct employees to follow food safety programs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Diagnose equipment faults.
- Repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Manage supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Interface effectively with external suppliers, customers, and others.
