Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
Cedar Trace Apartments, a Monarch Investment community in Maryland Heights, Missouri, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead its on-site maintenance team. The supervisor prioritizes and completes service requests and work orders, oversees apartment make-ready and turnover processes, works with the Property Manager on budgeting and planning, and leads preventive maintenance. The role includes supervising and mentoring the maintenance team, participating in an on-call rotation of one week every four weeks, and performing interior and exterior painting and staining as needed. The position requires pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
- HVAC experience is required, including air conditioning, electrical, and forced-air systems.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Nice To Haves
- EPA Certification.
- CPO Certification.
- Hands-on skills in drywall, painting, and carpentry.
- Plumbing skills, such as sweating copper pipe.
- Electrical skills involving outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Appliance repair skills.
- Water heater repair skills, including gas and electric units.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and complete service requests and work orders.
- Oversee unit make-ready and turnover processes for new move-ins.
- Work with the Property Manager to manage budget and planning.
- Lead the preventive maintenance program.
- Supervise and mentor the maintenance team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation of one week every four weeks.
- Perform interior and exterior painting and staining as needed.

- Hourly pay of $28.00–$32.00, based on experience.
