The Maintenance Manager will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the proper functioning of warehouse equipment such as material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building repairs. This role involves monitoring and driving department performance, ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT), and managing assigned financial aspects by tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and analyzing business reports. The position also focuses on building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of belonging, attracting and retaining talent, and acting with integrity and transparency. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for communicating with various stakeholders, driving the business plan for their area, forecasting staffing needs, and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns. They will supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation processes. This role emphasizes a commitment to serving customers, making data-driven decisions, and striving for continuous improvement and excellence through learning and the adoption of new technologies.
