About The Position
Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a mechanically inclined Label Machine Operator for its production team. The operator is responsible for setting up and operating label machines efficiently, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring products meet high-quality standards. The role uses an ERP system to record materials and time and requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The posting lists a $500 sign-on bonus and a starting hiring rate of $18 per hour, plus a shift differential for night shifts. Potential schedules include day or night shifts from Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines with a zero-defect mindset.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and find root-cause solutions.
- Monitor close tolerances and use the ERP system to log materials and time accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, prioritizing the safety of yourself and teammates.
