About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an LPN/LVN in a Medical Surgical unit. The role requires acute care experience and involves floating per facility needs. The shift is 3x12s nights, with an option for 4x12s. Guaranteed hours are 36, unless working 4x12s where overtime is paid after 52 hours. The position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday. All time off requests (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application; any RTO requested after an offer will not be approved. It is the traveler's responsibility to cover any additional shifts if they call off. The call-off policy allows for 3 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• Acute care experience REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Recent experience within the past year
• NY State License
• BLS certification
• 8 hours of stroke education

Nice To Haves

• If your traveler does not have a NY License, they can still be submitted if they applied for the license. When submitted, your team will need to provide the date the application was submitted.
