About The Position

Genesis of Portland is building a sales team to represent the Genesis luxury automotive brand. The Luxury Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant guides sophisticated clients through a refined vehicle-buying experience, helping them choose vehicles that fit their lifestyles. The role involves developing and managing prospective customers, negotiating leads, and conducting sales transparently and professionally in a high-energy, family-oriented environment. The position is full-time and commission-based, with a stated annual salary range of $48,000 to $120,000. The dealership is located in Portland, Oregon, and operates in a new, state-of-the-art facility. The role offers support from the Tonkin Family Dealerships, which emphasizes stability, promoting from within, and community involvement.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to connect with high-income, highly educated clients.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing.

• At least one year of automotive sales experience; preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the vehicle purchasing process and help them select a vehicle suited to their lifestyle.
• Proactively prospect and qualify leads to grow a personal book of business.
• Negotiate leads and guide clients through the sales process with transparency and professionalism.
• Represent the Genesis brand and deliver a polished, intentional customer experience.
