About The Position

Tonkin Mazda of Portland is hiring an Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant to sell quality pre-owned vehicles and guide customers through a full-service buying experience. The role offers paid training for the first three months and a commission-based pay plan with no earnings limit. The position is based at the dealership in Portland, Oregon, in a fast-paced, high-energy, family-oriented sales environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of prior sales experience.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of prior automotive sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers through the purchasing process and help them find and purchase a vehicle that meets their needs.
• Prospect and qualify customers, negotiate sales, and close deals.
