About The Position

Tonkin Mazda of Portland is hiring Automotive Sales Representatives/Consultants to sell quality pre-owned vehicles and guide customers through a full-service purchasing experience. The dealership offers paid training for the first three months. The role is based in a fast-paced, high-energy, family-oriented sales environment and offers a commission-based pay plan with no stated earnings limit.

Requirements

• Three years of prior sales experience.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of prior automotive sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers through the purchasing process by helping them find and purchase a vehicle that meets their needs.
• Prospect and qualify customers, negotiate, and close sales.
