About The Position

Maxime’s is a private member’s club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The Lounge Server delivers efficient, accurate, professional service in the bar and lounge, builds relationships with members, and works closely with front- and back-of-house colleagues to maintain service standards and create a welcoming atmosphere. The role involves serving members in the Zodiac Bar and 1st Floor Lounges, supporting exceptional hospitality, and adapting to departmental needs. Career progression opportunities are noted.

Requirements

Proven success as a Server in fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings.
Ability to provide friendly, courteous, professional, and timely service.
Ability to maintain detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings and assist members with dietary concerns, preferences, and allergies.
Ability to accurately process orders using a POS.
Ability to follow food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service safety standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments.
Ability to adapt to changing departmental needs and perform other reasonable assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, courteous, professional, and timely service to members.
Build relationships with members while delivering efficient and accurate service.
Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings in the Zodiac Bar and 1st Floor Lounges, including information relevant to dietary preferences, concerns, and allergies.
Process food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS.
Follow Department of Health and safety standards for food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service.
Maintain good working relationships and support colleagues and other departments in providing exceptional hospitality.
Adapt to departmental changes and carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
