About The Position

The Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate supports a positive customer shopping experience while maintaining a strong partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention. The role involves understanding operational procedures and deterring dishonesty through customer service and a professional, knowledgeable presence. The associate supports store shrink-reduction goals, promotes honesty and integrity, and helps maintain a safe environment. This position is at HomeGoods Store 0735 in Glendale, New York, and has a starting pay range of USD $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers.
• Engage customers, provide support, and create a positive shopping environment.
• Deter theft through customer engagement and a professional, knowledgeable presence.
• Observe accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates.
• Communicate shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention.
• Partner with Store Management and Loss Prevention to complete assignments and achieve goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Encourage Associates to use shrink-reduction resources.
• Promote safety awareness and support a safe environment.
• Follow through on commitments and accomplish goals with minimum supervision.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
