LOGISTICS/WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
About The Position
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of receiving, selection, and loading of product, and for maintaining productivity levels for hourly members. The supervisor models and demonstrates the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others. The role plans production and staffing needs, coordinates with supervisors, managers, and other areas, and monitors order accuracy, safety, sanitation, productivity, and labor requirements. It also includes developing and training hourly associates, maintaining personnel records, and supervising, coaching, and reviewing direct reports. The position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- At least two years of leadership experience.
- Highly motivated and energetic, with the ability to address issues with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to report and recommend solutions to challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software, especially MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of supervisory experience.
- High school education or greater; a degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with fellow supervisors and the Manager about daily operational activities.
- Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
- Plan production and staffing needs on a daily, weekly, and period basis.
- Work with other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
- Monitor and meet order accuracy requirements and expectations.
- Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
- Oversee personnel records for all associates.
- Help develop and train hourly associates.
- Generate distribution/service center productivity reports regarding labor standards; account for labor hours, adhere to budget requirements, and work toward objectives and divisional goals.
- Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
