About The Position

Fleet Farm is hiring a part-time Logistics Team Member for work in replenishment, logistics, receiving, the yard, or gate guard operations. The role supports a consistent customer experience through receiving and stocking merchandise, fulfilling online orders, and warehousing goods. Team members work in a physical, fast-paced environment and provide customer service while following safe and efficient work practices. Replenishment and Logistics Team Members stock products accurately, maintain an organized stockroom, receive and stage incoming freight, move freight to the sales floor, and return carts and remove freight from the sales floor as appropriate. Receiving and Yard Team Members retrieve products from the yard and warehouse, replenish sales and promotional items, fulfill internet orders, and organize bulk products in the outdoor display area. Gate Guards manage customer traffic, verify purchases and loading, direct customers, follow shrink-reduction procedures, and communicate with Customer Service about incomplete loads.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to become certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Stock products accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
Assist with receiving merchandise safely, promptly, and efficiently.
Split, sort, and stage incoming freight for the stocking team.
Move prepared freight to the sales floor safely and in an organized, efficient manner.
Remove freight from the sales floor and return carts to the warehouse as appropriate.
Pull products from the yard and warehouse for sales floor team members to stock.
Locate sale and promotional items on demand to replenish stock during operating hours.
Fulfill internet orders through the pick, pack, and ship process.
Organize and keep bulk products stocked in the outside display area.
Maintain smooth traffic flow in and out of the gate area while providing efficient and accurate customer service.
Verify customer purchases by reviewing receipts and outside loading slips.
Direct customers to merchandise locations for proper loading.
Follow standard policies and procedures to help reduce company shrink.
Verify the accuracy of customer loading using an RF unit and outside loading application, as well as a physical count.
Communicate efficiently with the Customer Service Department and retain outside loading slips for customer loads that were not completely loaded.
