About The Position

Fleet Farm is seeking a part-time Logistics Team Member for work in replenishment, logistics, receiving, the yard, or as a gate guard. The role supports a consistent customer experience through merchandise receiving and stocking, online order fulfillment, and warehousing. Team members work in a physical, fast-paced environment and provide customer service while helping keep merchandise and work areas organized and safe. Replenishment and Logistics Team Members stock products accurately and efficiently, maintain an organized stockroom, receive and sort incoming freight, and move prepared freight to the sales floor. Receiving and Yard Team Members retrieve products for stocking, replenish sale and promotional items, fulfill internet orders, and maintain bulk products in the outside display area. Gate Guards manage traffic flow, verify customer purchases and loading, direct customers, help reduce shrink, and communicate with Customer Service about incomplete loads. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The role requires a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; the ability to become certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices; and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Stock products accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
Receive merchandise safely, promptly, and efficiently.
Split, sort, and stage incoming freight for the stocking team.
Move prepared freight to the sales floor safely and in an organized, efficient manner.
Remove freight from the sales floor and return carts to the warehouse as appropriate.
Pull products from the yard and warehouse for sales floor team members to stock.
Locate sale and promotional items on demand to replenish stock during operating hours.
Fulfill internet orders through the pick, pack, and ship process.
Organize and maintain bulk products in the outside display area.
Manage smooth traffic flow into and out of the gate area while providing efficient, accurate customer service.
Verify customer purchases by reviewing receipts and outside loading slips.
Direct customers to merchandise locations for proper loading.
Follow standard policies and procedures to help reduce company shrink.
Verify customer loading using an RF unit and outside loading application, as well as a physical count.
Communicate efficiently with the Customer Service Department and retain outside loading slips for loads that were not completed.
