About The Position

Fleet Farm is hiring a part-time Logistics Team Member for work in replenishment, logistics, receiving, the yard, or gate guard operations. Logistics team members support a consistent customer experience by receiving and stocking merchandise, fulfilling online orders, and warehousing goods. The role requires friendly, dependable, self-motivated people who can work in a physical, fast-paced environment. Replenishment and Logistics Team Members stock products accurately and efficiently, keep the stockroom clean and organized, assist with safe and timely merchandise receiving, and sort and stage incoming freight. They move prepared freight to the sales floor and return freight and carts to the warehouse as appropriate. Receiving and Yard Team Members pull products from the yard and warehouse for stocking, locate sale and promotional items for replenishment during operating hours, fulfill internet orders through the pick-pack-ship process, and organize bulk products in the outside display area. Gate Guards help maintain smooth traffic flow, provide accurate customer service, verify purchases using receipts and outside loading slips, direct customers to merchandise for loading, and follow procedures intended to reduce shrink. They verify customer loads using an RF unit and physical counts, communicate with Customer Service, and retain slips for loads that were not completely loaded.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to become certified to operate a forklift and other material-handling devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Stock products accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
Assist with receiving merchandise safely, promptly, and efficiently.
Split, sort, and stage incoming freight for the stocking team.
Move prepared freight to the sales floor safely and in an organized, efficient manner.
Remove freight from the sales floor and return carts to the warehouse as appropriate.
Pull products from the yard and warehouse for sales floor team members to stock.
Locate sale and promotional items for replenishment during operating hours.
Fulfill internet orders through the pick-pack-ship process.
Organize and keep bulk products stocked in the outside display area.
Help ensure smooth traffic flow in and out of the gate area while providing customer service.
Verify customer purchases by reviewing receipts and outside loading slips.
Direct customers to merchandise locations for proper loading.
Follow standard policies and procedures to help reduce company shrink.
Verify customer loads using an RF unit with the outside loading application and a physical count.
Communicate with the Customer Service Department and retain outside loading slips for loads that were not completely loaded.
