About The Position

Robert Bosch Fuel Systems, LLC, located in Kentwood, Michigan, is a precision metal machining manufacturing plant that manufactures and remanufactures large-engine diesel fuel systems. The Logistics/Supply Chain Intern assists Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, and Manufacturing managers with activities supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

The intern works on projects involving inventory control, product configuration, scanning systems training, point-of-use improvements, shipments and receiving, central warehousing, the materials crib, and general stores. The role also supports continuous improvement opportunities. Hours range from 15 to 40 per week, as class schedule allows. This internship is scheduled for January 2027.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, at junior or senior level.
• Must have local housing within 50 miles of the work location.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and collaborative approach.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and solve problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Availability to work 15 to 40 hours, as class schedule allows.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; future work-authorization sponsorship is unavailable.
• Must successfully complete a drug screen and background check before the start date.

Nice To Haves

• SAP knowledge.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
