About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join its team in Williston, Vermont. The driver operates a day cab tractor with a 48-foot or 53-foot trailer, completing pickups and deliveries to LTL customer locations. The position is home daily and operates Monday through Friday. Drivers earn $36.00 per hour, are paid weekly by direct deposit, and receive overtime after 40 hours. A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1924. Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements at the start, or be willing to obtain them within 90 days.
Have at least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have no more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Communicate effectively and be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
Perform lift-gate deliveries, including loading and unloading at stops as needed.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, and follow FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
Build relationships through excellent communication with customers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
