About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated, full-time Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Williston, Vermont. The driver operates a day cab tractor with a 48-foot or 53-foot trailer to complete pickups and deliveries to LTL customer locations. The position is home daily and works Monday through Friday. Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements at the start of employment, or willingness to obtain them within 90 days.
At least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
At least 21 years of age.
No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Ability to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English.
Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
Perform lift-gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, and adhere to FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
Build relationships through excellent communication with customers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
