About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated, full-time Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Columbus, Ohio. The driver operates a day cab tractor with a 48-foot or 53-foot trailer to make pickups and deliveries at various less-than-truckload (LTL) customer locations. The position is home daily and works Monday through Friday. Pay is $36.00 per hour, with weekly direct deposit every Friday and overtime after 40 hours. A. Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Have a Hazmat endorsement when starting.
Have a Tanker endorsement when starting or be willing to obtain one within 90 days.
Have at least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have no more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Communicate effectively and be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
Perform lift-gate deliveries, including loading and unloading at stops as needed.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, and follow FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
Build relationships with customers through excellent communication.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
