Mii amo Lobby Attendant (Spa)
About The Position
Mii amo is seeking an outgoing, energetic, passionate, and authentic Lobby Attendant to help create and deliver personalized, extraordinary experiences for resort guests and team members. The work environment is described as fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and engaging. The Lobby Attendant maintains public areas, guest amenities, assigned offices, pool areas, and outdoor common areas to Five-Star property standards. The role also supports laundry operations as assigned to help ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The position receives supervision from the Operations Manager, Front Office Manager, and Front Office Supervisor, and exercises no supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Comfort communicating with guests and staff using basic English.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependability.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to walk and stand for 75% of the work and bend for 25%.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Hearing and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use cleaning solutions and work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to drive a golf cart on occasion as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Clean, maintain, and restock public areas, restrooms, offices, pool areas, and other assigned locations.
- Monitor indoor and outdoor guest areas, including furnishings and courtyard areas, to maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
- Inspect assigned areas for maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or missing items and report findings to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Process spa laundry by sorting, washing, drying, folding, staging, and transporting linens.
- Keep work areas clean and safe and promptly report equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure assigned areas meet established cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
- Properly operate, clean, and store equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
