About The Position

The Loader is responsible for palletizing cases of chicken products and loading the pallets into trailers. Products are sorted by code, pre-price, and master order number. The employee verifies quantities and product codes using a scanning gun over the product code on each box. The role also helps maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to read and write numbers and English, perform math, communicate effectively, and identify problems with labels, scanning guns, rider pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Ability to work in a 28°F environment.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods (8–10 hours) on a concrete or metal-grate floor.
• Ability to lift 65 pounds or more.
• Ability to pass Power Industrial Truck licensing and operate the heavy machinery.
• Full understanding of the Lock Out/Tag Out program and ability to pass LOTO training.
