About The Position

The Fillet Trimmer sorts chicken butterfly fillets, trims bones and bruises from the fillets with a knife, and places product on conveyor belts. The role also checks rejected fillets at an x-ray reject station and places butterfly fillets evenly on the conveyor. Other duties may be assigned. The pay rate is $18.15 per hour, and the shift runs from 1:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., plus overtime.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of 8–10 hours on a concrete or metal-grate floor.
• Ability to work effectively with small hand-held tools.
• Ability to visually distinguish between product types.
• Ability to perform repetitive grasping, cutting, reaching, and lifting.
• Must submit to and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort chicken butterfly fillets.
• Trim bones and bruises from chicken butterfly fillets using a knife.
• Place product on conveyor belts and space butterfly fillets evenly.
• Check rejected fillets at an x-ray reject station.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
