About The Position

Kanner & Pintaluga is a law firm founded in 2003, with nearly 100 lawyers and more than 30 offices throughout the Central and Southeastern United States. The firm has recovered over $1 billion for property damage and personal injury clients nationwide. Its primary goal is to achieve favorable outcomes and maximum compensation for clients.

The Litigation Attorney is responsible for providing clients with attentive care and pursuing excellent results. The attorney meets with clients to discuss their cases, demonstrates compassion and empathy, and earns clients’ trust, confidence, and respect. The attorney also updates clients and communicates with insurance companies about claims, demands, and offers. The role includes preparing cases for trial and trying cases when needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Three to five years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Membership in the Illinois Bar and in good standing.
• Experience evaluating claims.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment.
• Team-oriented.
