About The Position

Opendoor is rebuilding how people buy and sell homes, aiming to provide more certainty, choice, and less friction. Its Resale Listing Partners are licensed real estate professionals who serve as the primary point of contact for buyer’s agents from offer through close on Opendoor-owned homes. They negotiate on behalf of Opendoor, coordinate with internal teams and title partners, and drive smooth, timely closings while delivering a strong agent and buyer experience. Opendoor is building a remote Listing Partner team in Illinois for professionals with an active Illinois real estate license. The role involves learning Opendoor’s playbook, tools, and processes, with training, coaching, and support to ramp up to a high volume of listings and contracts. The position is full-time, with flexibility needed during peak-volume periods and weekend coverage required. Performance is evaluated using a balanced scorecard that includes conversion, fallthroughs, negotiation outcomes, title attach, pend-to-close time, and customer experience. Performance-based incentive pay is aligned with outcomes the employee can influence.
