About The Position

Raley's is hiring an accountable, positive, and passionate Liquor Specialist to carry out daily operations in the store's Liquor Department. The role focuses on growing department sales, offering quality wines, beers, and spirits, and providing customers with a memorable experience. The specialist works at a fast pace, maintains safety, and handles stocking, ordering, and merchandising. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-service oriented.
Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Able to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Able to reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Able to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 lbs., pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.
Internal transfer or promotion candidates must apply through the internal portal and must have had no disciplinary action during the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Store Team Leader with relevant tasks and assignments.
Order, rotate, and stock products in the Liquor Department.
Maintain excellent in-stock conditions and product-facing standards.
Merchandise and maintain abundant store displays.
Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department.
Receive shipments and deliveries.
Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
Provide memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
