About The Position

The Liquor Specialist executes the day-to-day operations of the store’s Liquor Department, which offers wines, beers, and spirits. This role helps drive and grow department sales while providing memorable customer experiences and maintaining safe, well-stocked, and appealing product offerings. The specialist works at a fast pace, takes initiative, and supports the Center Store Team Leader with relevant tasks and assignments. The role involves ordering, receiving, rotating, and stocking merchandise; maintaining in-stock conditions and presentation standards; merchandising displays; and keeping the department, warehouse, and work area clean and organized. The specialist provides customer service and supports department safety and sanitation. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-service-oriented.
Self-motivated, with attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Able to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Able to reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.

Nice To Haves

Interest in food is a plus.
Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery, or similar experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Store Team Leader in relevant tasks and assignments.
Order, rotate, and stock product in the Liquor Department.
Maintain excellent in-stock conditions and facing standards.
Merchandise and maintain abundant store displays.
Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department.
Receive shipments and deliveries.
Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
Provide memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
