About The Position

Raley's is hiring a positive, passionate, accountable Deli Clerk to primarily support the Food Service Department and work in other departments as needed. The role involves a variety of store tasks, including checking and bagging groceries, operating a register, assisting customers, stocking and cleaning, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Clerks are expected to work safely in a fast-paced environment, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to a welcoming store experience. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-service oriented.
Self-motivated, with attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Able to meet physical demands that may include extended periods of standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

Operate a register and accurately handle cash, credit and debit payments, and change.
Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
Check and bag groceries.
Assist with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning, and dusting as needed.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the store.
Work primarily in the Food Service Department and in other departments as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
