About The Position

The Liquor Cashier maintains safety and merchandise presentation in the facility and liquor sales area, provides service to members, and operates cash registers or related equipment to process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. The role follows company procedures for register operations, cash-lane upkeep, shrink reduction, liquor sales, and required documentation. It also supports the company’s values by working collaboratively, acting with integrity, serving members, and pursuing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility safety by following safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, following forklift-spotting procedures and steel standards, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, helping with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Maintain the liquor sales floor by handling claims and returns, zoning and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Operate cash registers or related equipment and process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using the appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Maintain cash registers and lanes, stock register supplies and box bins, follow procedures for identifying concealed merchandise, and work to meet front-end performance goals.
• Follow company and legal requirements for liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing and maintaining required forms and documentation.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace, build trusting team relationships, communicate effectively, and help develop and mentor others.
