The Line Service Technician provides safe, efficient aircraft ground handling while delivering exceptional customer service to aircraft owners, guests, and flight crews. This hands-on, operations-focused role supports arriving and departing aircraft with professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude. The technician performs fueling, towing, parking, de-icing, aircraft placement, and basic cleaning; operates ground support equipment; and provides required services accurately and on time. The role requires attention to ramp safety, aircraft movement, foreign object debris prevention, weather conditions, company procedures, and operational risks. Technicians assist passengers and flight crews, anticipate customer needs, and represent Modern Aviation professionally. They collaborate with fellow technicians, customer service staff, and operations leadership, and perform additional duties as assigned by Shift Leads or Line Management. The position requires open availability for variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Work takes place outdoors and involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, extreme heat and cold, heights, vibration, chemicals such as aviation fuels, oils, and lavatory fluid, and usually loud noise. Employees must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, and manual tasks.
