About The Position

Responsible for the final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable federal, state, and local standards and the company’s established policies and procedures. The Line Server may be directed by a kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to help ensure quality service. The position is part time at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. The schedule is Monday through Saturday on the evening shift or Sunday on the morning shift; further details are provided during the interview.

Requirements

• Two years of serving experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, quality customer service.
• Participate in preparing and serving food and beverages according to company presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion-control standards, including HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• Clean the work area and equipment used in food preparation and service.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, oneself, and staff.
• Cooperate with staff from other departments in performing job duties.
• Contribute to the team and act professionally with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
