About The Position

Responsible for the final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and company policies and procedures. The role may be directed by the kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure quality service. Previous experience is not necessary. Full-time and part-time schedules are available; days and hours may vary, with further details provided during the interview. The position is located at Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
Participate in preparing and serving food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control, including HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
Clean work areas and equipment used in food preparation and service.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
Cooperate with staff from other departments in performing job duties.
Contribute to the team and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
