LINE SERVER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Line Server at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position is responsible for final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable regulations, standards, and company policies and procedures. The role may receive direction from a kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure quality service. The schedule is full time, with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Days may vary, and weekends rotate. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Previous serving, food service, and customer service experience is required.
Requirements
- Previous serving experience.
- Previous food service experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service and one-on-one attention to detail.
- Participate in preparing and serving food and beverages according to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, HACCP and OSHA guidelines, and portion control.
- Clean work areas and equipment used in food preparation and service.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
- Cooperate with staff from other departments in performing job duties.
- Contribute to the team and act professionally with customers, coworkers, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
